Dream ride day. Where would it be and who would be along for the ride? My dream ride would be in the Porte Du Soleil region of France with a group of equally keen riding mates for as long as possible. We would be mixing things up every other day, one day lift runs on Downhill Steeds, the other day reserved for all day Enduro epics!
Who or what got you into riding bikes? My parents from the beginning which led to countless street and bush adventures, whether it be moulding jumps from council dirt down the park, or bashing through the bush with my brothers and mates substituting suspension with deflated tyres, I was addicted from there on!

Dream ride day. Where would it be and who would be along for the ride? A day shredding whistler bike park with mates! On the to do list.
Who or what got you into riding bikes? I’ve always loved riding bikes since i can remember, it all started with BMX racing.
Racing highlights: Every race is a highlight for me. For me its not about the results is all about a good time.
Deon
Deon is about as keen a biker you’re likely to come across. A strong background in Downhill Racing, including several National podiums and top ten results and a good crack at the World Cup Circuit has led Deon to pursuing the Enduro format both at a local and international level. But it’s not all about racing for Deon. He gets an equally contagious buzz just riding, whether it be his local trails or pavement, or exploring new places to ride with his mates.

Dream ride: Where would it be and who would be along for the ride? Somewhere epic and somewhere new. Perhaps coastal BC or Europe. It would be for a week or two, in a bus with some of my favourite people and we’d hit a new spot every day, camping out or lodging depending on the daily adventures. By the end of the two weeks no one would want to go back to normal life. They’ll all magically be able to extend their holiday and we’d continue the trip for another year or two broadening the scope of our adventures until we had exhausted all the chosen land mass had to offer. Come the last day we’d leave the bus content with both the scope and duration of the adventure, returning to real life with immovable smiles and reeking of rad vibes. You can always dream right?
Who or what got you into riding bikes? Similar to lots of kids, I grew up riding bikes around my grandmother’s house with my brother and cousins. Her house was on an orchard in the Perth hills, so I guess the scope was a little larger than most. When I was 9, I got into BMX racing for a little while and then rode motorbikes in the bush with my Dad and brothers. I got my first mountain bike when I was 15 and we had a really great crew of mates in Kalamunda that pushed each other in everything we did. Many of those guys still ride bikes and form the majority of my closest friends.
Racing highlights: In DH; Some state level wins and podiums, a national round podium and some epic crashes in some European would cups pretty well sums things up.
