At Speedlite cycles we offer a comprehensive list of bicycle maintenance and repair options.
In a workshop space which forms the heart of our store, our staff members draw on their high level of mechanical experience in order to meet your bicycle repair and service needs. With an arsenal of industry standard tools, a large array of spare parts in store, and our regular suppliers on constant standby, we are able to get you back on track sooner.
Service Jobs are usually processed in order of drop off date, whereby a 2 to 5 day turn-around time is usual. For customers requiring a more immediate time frame, bookings are essential.
- Repairs booked for same-day servicing must be dropped off before 11 am on the day of repair.
- Whilst we attempt to determine and correctly allocate all the required parts for a booked repair, sometimes a job may need parts which are unavailable, leading to unavoidable delays. Under these circumstances, the required part/parts will be promptly ordered and installed when received.
We run a tight workshop, you will be kept informed with time frames for parts ordered to give you peace of mind as to when your steed will be ready to go.
General Service $60
Hubs- Check tension and adjust where needed.
Bottom bracket- check tension and adjust where needed.
Headset- Check tension and adjust where needed.
Lubricate brake and gear cables.
Lubricate necessary mechanical components (chain/derailleurs etc)
Tune Brakes (tension and alignment.)
Tune Gears (tension, limits and alignment.)
Bolt check.
Inflate Tyres to recommended pressure.
Wipe Down.
Test Ride.

Lifetime Free Servicing* on Performance bikes purchased at Speedlite cycles.
At Speedlites we like to look after our loyal customers, and offer a level of back up support second to none. With all performance bicycles purchased through the store we offer life time free servicing for the original owner.
*Free servicing is based on our general service ($60), which includes check over and adjustment of all the major points of the bicycle. Free servicing does not include the cost of components, or the labour costs associated with overhauling or replacing damaged or worn componentry. A quote for any recommended maintenance or repair, beyond that included in a free service, will be provided before the commencement of any additional work. Free servicing is only offered with the purchase of bicycles over $2000 from 01/06/2015 and may not apply to sale specials or heavily discounted models. Free servicing is limited to 3 x free services per bike per year. Speedlite cycles reserves the right to suspend the offer of free servicing at any time.
